I made the decision to sell my dream cottage in Harfield Village after owning it for nearly 10 years. I gave considerable thought as to whom I felt would be "the best man for the job" in promoting, marketing and selling the property. I gave the Sole Mandate to Lew Norgarb from Norgarb Properties on Monday 4th February 2019. Lew proved to have an avid love for Harfield Village having lived and worked there for many years. He is also involved in many projects for the caring and promoting of Harfield Village.
It was obvious at our initial meeting that Lew was fully aware of the current market values in Harfield Village and launched my cottage at a realistic price. A photographer was called in and the property was listed on various portals within a week. The Cape Property Guide of the Weekend Argus also featured my property in Sussex Street, which was going on show on Sunday 17th February. Lew was very attentive with all the interested parties and Show Day proved to be an incredible success as the property sold for the listed price.
The back-up after sales service was far greater than I had expected and Lew was available to answer and act, where necessary, on whatever queries I had.
From the date of me signing the Sole Mandate to the lodging of the Title Deeds and the payment into my bank account on 28th April 2019 was 12 stress free weeks!
My only regret is that I do not have another property to ask Lew from Norgarb Properties to sell.
